The Farmette in Lyons, CO is one our top favorite venues, and these photos will explain exactly why.
Sara + Steve’s day was so beautiful, and we are in awe over these sneak peek photos from One Oak Photography by the lovely Kelsey White. Sara, the bride, is a creator and crafter, and made some amazing pieces for her wedding day, including crocheting her own gown!
The flowers by Emily Rose Florals based out of Timnath, CO were stunning! The bouquets + boutonnieres, the altar, the old fashioned truck, and even the food had the most vibrant and beautiful flowers! We can’t stop talking about it! Emily is so creative she even thinks to install magnets into the boutonniere so they are easy for the men to wear, no pinning necessary, which is always a life saver.
Emily is such a fun floral designer to work with. Her passion for flowers can’t be beat! She grows her own flowers in her backyard garden in addition to having several chickens! Emily is a dream to work with, and she does such an amazing job at making a couple’s dream flower arrangements come to life!
Under the Sun Eatery catered the wedding day, and oh my goodness, they were fabulous! They helped us with everything from setting up chairs and table settings, to passing appetizers and beverages immediately following the ceremony, to serving the most creative and delicious food for the guests. The whole staff was well trained and carried great attitudes.
They were incredible to work with.
The table rentals were from Harvest Table Company and added so much beauty to the day. There is no need to cover these tables with anything other than some candles and some flowers!

The Farmette’s baby goats and alpacas also joined the fun! The Farmette offers so many great things for couples… airstreams and a beautiful cabin suite to get ready in, flower gardens that are just spilling over in colorful flowers! They have beautiful accent furniture, comfortable ceremony and reception chairs, a gorgeous green lawn with twinkle lights hanging above from the huge oak trees which are perfect for providing just the right amount of shade. They also have flowing water and romantic bridges with a dance floor covered by a white tent already set up for the couple! Their staff is so knowledgeable and experience… we LOVE working with them.
But our most favorite thing was all of the unique and handmade items that Sara created special for her big day. The embroidery, crochet, and all the little details were perfect!
