I want to empower couples to make the brave choice to have a wedding day that reflects who they are. I want to help couples in Colorado + beyond create the day that they dream of.

My husband + I live in a yellow house at the bottom of the mountains with our dog. When I’m not planning the next Flourish Workshop or dinner party, you can find me in a yoga class or out drinking coffee. I was raised in Eaton, Colorado with a big, amazing family.

I am a self proclaimed design nerd. Ever since I was a child I have loved all things aesthetically pleasing, I never played with my Barbies - I only decorated their houses. I fell in love with event planning at my first corporate job in Denver, planning large company events and I'd never loved hard work more. After planning my own wedding, and then working with a team of wedding planners I decided it was time to start my business. And thats when Courtney Cyr Design was born.

I find inspiration everywhere: traveling, looking through magazines, hiking, or just standing in my backyard. I believe that we live in a truly beautiful world.

A few of my favorite things - Reclaimed wood, exposed brick, fringe, women who inspire other women, calligraphy, flower crowns, elopements, cycling classes, coffee that comes from my moms kitchen (It always tastes better with her), The Turnpike Troubadours, red wine, unique wedding day traditions, The Lumineers.

Meet Emma.

Assistant Coordinator + Design Queen

Growing up in the bay area I had always been inspired by the environment surrounding me. This lead to my passion of design and all things related to it. I am now currently pursuing an interior design major at Colorado State University. I believe that our surroundings have a huge impact on our outlook, personality, and feelings in that moment. That is why design can profoundly affect one's life. The mountains to the coast are really what I fuel my inspiration behind. I love to see people be the happiest they can be in an environment. My life motto will always be, "do what you love." Hopefully, if you are doing what you love the success and happiness will follow.

A few of my favorite things - Dancing, laughter, basically any dog in the world, Audrey Hepburn, music that gives you the chills, and a mix of old and new.
